Key Responsibilities
1. Installation and Configuration
- Oversee the installation and setup of GPS hardware and software.
- Configure GPS devices, sensors, and tracking systems according to project requirements.
- Ensure all devices are properly calibrated and communicate with back-end systems.
2. Training and Support
- Provide training to clients on effectively using our GPS tracking system.
- Develop user manuals and training materials.
- Offer ongoing technical support and troubleshoot GPS-related issues.
3. Compliance and Security
- Ensure our GPS tracking system complies with local and international regulations.
- Implement security protocols to protect sensitive GPS data.
- Maintain accurate records for legal and audit purposes.
4. Project Management
- Manage GPS projects from inception to completion, including timelines and resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
5. Testing and Optimization
- Optimize GPS configurations for better performance, including signal strength and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot technical problems related to GPS hardware or software.
6. System Maintenance and Updates
- Conduct regular system maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
- Recommend upgrades or new technologies to improve system performance.
7. Custom Solutions Development
- Collaborate with software developers to create customized dashboards and reporting systems.
8. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of all GPS-related activities and configurations.
- Generate performance reports and provide actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with GPS hardware, software, and tracking systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and technical expertise.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and data security protocols.
- Willingness to travel to different locations as required.
