The Sales and Marketing Officer is responsible for expanding the company’s marketplace by acquiring and onboarding merchants and clients while also ensuring operational capacity through the recruitment of dispatch riders and sourcing of logistics resources. The role focuses on building strategic partnerships, maintaining strong relationships with merchants and consumers, and ensuring seamless service delivery across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants and corporate clients onto the platform.
Promote the company’s delivery/dispatch services to individuals and businesses.
Develop partnerships that increase platform usage and revenue.
Assist merchants with onboarding, app setup, and operational integration.
Report on growth metrics, onboarding success rates, and operational capacity.
Provide insights to management on market opportunities and operational needs.
Train merchants on how to manage orders, pricing, and product listings.
Provide ongoing support to ensure merchants operate effectively on the platform.
Act as a liaison between platform users and internal operations teams.
Resolve partner issues and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements Education
Minimum of High School Certificate (WASSCE) or equivalent.
Experience
Previous experiences working as a marketer or sales rep
Have previously worked for a delivery/dispatch company
