Job Summary
The Internal Dispatch Rider is responsible for timely pickup of orders from merchants and safe delivery to customers. The role requires strong time management, road safety awareness, and good customer service skills to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Accept and confirm delivery requests via the app.
• Pick up items from merchants promptly and deliver orders safely and on time.
• Follow dispatch instructions and delivery schedules accurately.
• Confirm receipt and delivery of items with proper documentation.
• Ensure packages are handled carefully to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain communication with the dispatch office regarding delivery status.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures where required.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the assigned motorcycle.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Report any delivery issues, accidents, or delays immediately.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
• Minimum of High School Certificate (WASSCE) or equivalent
Experience
• Previous experience as a dispatch rider or delivery rider (preferred)
• Valid motorcycle rider’s license
• Good knowledge of local routes and road networks
• Must have a valid license
• Must have police clearance
